Daily Activities |
Activities are balanced between indoors and outdoors,
structured and student choice.

Students check in
and are served a healthy snack. A variety of centers are
available at tables beneath the pavilion and on the playground:
Art, Games, Reading, Homework, etc. |
| 3:15-4:15 |
Clubs meet.
Students are picked up by their club sponsor. |
| 4:15-4:30 |
Playground
round-up. Students put away toys and equipment and clean-up
centers. |
| 4:30-6:00 |
Indoor centers in
the Clubhouse: Art, Board games, Reading, Science Table, etc.
Videos may be shown on rainy days. |

Extended Learning Purpose |
|
To provide GCCS K-eighth grade students and siblings of
GCCS students with a structured environment where learning continues in
a fun and exciting way. |

Opportunities for Students |
|
M&M Club by Mrs. Beth Travers. Learn skills now to
serve others when you are needed. M&M Minis (Grades K-3) meet Mondays at
3:15, M&Ms (Grades 4 and up) meet Tuesdays at 3:15. Activities include
crafts, cooking, gardening, scrapbooking and more. $20 per year supply
fee. Drama Club by Mrs. Karen
Christianson Tuesdays at 3:15 grades 3—8. $20 per year
4—H Club by Dr. Kevin Garner Join our award
winning team. Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month. $15 sign
up fee
Gymnastics/Cheerleading - by Carrie’s Dance
Gallery. Thursdays at 3:15. $25 per month.
Soccer Club - by Coach Newsome. Friday at 3:15,
beginning Sept. 17.Students need to bring a #4 soccer ball.
Mission Field Activity Center Students are
given the tools each day to do for others: Cutting Campbell’s Soup
Labels and Box Tops for Education to help our school, make Thank You
and/or Get Well Soon cards, sort donated items or help with other school
and community projects. |
